Your safety is our priority at Blue JackTar. We apply all sanitary measures and procedures to guarantee all guests can enjoy in a safe and relaxed stay experience in Playa Dorada.

  • All BJT staff faithfully follow the Covid-19 protocol in each department
  • The health officer in charge of the program supervises their compliance
  • The human resources department verifies the health of our staff daily with the taking of temperature and health questionnaire 
  • Our linen is washed at a high temperature for disinfection 
  • Housekeeping staff considers all protocols when cleaning and disinfecting rooms and apartments 
  • All staff use mandatory masks, gloves, foot covers and hats, as well as specific products for micro-bacterial and viral disinfection, while fixed textiles receive steam treatments with and special equipment 
  • Rooms have an antibacterial gel kit and surgical masks available to guests 
  • The spaces where several people can attend at the same time such as reception, restaurant entrance or even employee entrance, are marked with a physical distance of 1.5 m
  • We have 70% alcohol and antibacterial gel at multiple areas and spaces within the property for both guests and staff 
  • Within our area cleaning routes, we constantly disinfect high traffic areas, such as bathrooms, elevators, stairs, handrails, etc 
  • We constantly promote and remind our staff through the Head Department, Health Officer and posters with pictograms, handwashing and other basic actions 
  • Rooms remain vacant for 72 hours between each guest, to ensure total disinfection 
  • We have the audit and supervision of the international company Cristal International Standards with the POSI Check program that evaluates the property in the Covid-19 section as well as other complementary programs, Room Check and Health & Safety in food and beverages 
  • Our menus are in each of our facilities, breakfast, lunch, dinner, in QR code to avoid the physical menu 
  • In our beach and pool areas, we have staff to sanitize and disinfect beach chairs and beds, after each use 
  • Also, in restaurants, breakfast and beach club, the service is a la carte and the physical distance is 1.5 meters where tables and chairs are sanitized and disinfected before being used
